AGE 26: The Following Takes Place Between Flatulence and Discontent....

If you're familiar with the show "24", you might get this....

It always amazes me how evil my Mom can be sometimes. This time around, her timing was just impeccable.

AGE 26: "Some ridiculous shit happened on the way to dinner..."

This situation was ridiculous enough that I had to make it three pages.

It also stuck in mind, because my good crotch destroying friend, Adina Murch is also getting married. So as crude as it is, this strip is obviously dedicated to her and her awesome boyfriend, Nir (soon to be husband). Much love to you both and I will see you both next year when your wedding comes. :)

AT AGE 5: In The Air Tonight..

As far back as I can remember, I'd always wanted to be a cop.

But I became a starving comic artist instead. Reality is merciless. :P

AT AGE 27: An Asian....wha???

Surprise, surprise. Delayed comic. :)

I'm still at work on my latest comic "This Will Pass". I would like to say it'll be done by June, but I've found that with life getting in way and such, no promises can be made. But rest assured, it will be done.

In the meantime, I've got a small batch of strips which I will posting for the month of May. They appear in the new print collection of Definitely Far From Korea which is being carried at Powells Books downtown and Floating World Comics, both in Portland, OR. So if you're local and interested, you can obtain a copy at either of those locations.

For anyone else who is interested in obtaining a copy, they will be sold via Paypal widget/store or Etsy. I haven't decided yet which option will be available, but a decision on that will be made soon and posted on future updates.

In the meantime, here's a new comic featuring myself and old chum, Ben Piper.

AT AGE 26: Full Blooded Korean

This is one of the more difficult strips I've done. But it was an important topic to me because it was brought up to me more than once by these relatives that I mentioned who feel like it's their duty to make me feel guilty for enjoying a manga. Along with that, the timing was really weird as I was getting ready to post this, especially with what's been happened in Japan with the earthquake/tsunami/nuclear reactor crises, and when I'm hearing all this rubbish about all that being karma for Japan's role in WWII. Idiots. I swear....

Anyways, I digress....

This will be the last "Definitely..." for a while as I am currently working on a new full length comic called "This Will Pass", which I hope to complete in time for free distribution at Stumptown. "Definitely Far From Korea..." will resume in April. And by May, I am hoping to have a printed collection ready for sale. Details on that hopefully soon. In the meantime, I hope you will find this week's strip not too much of a downer, but at least somewhat thought provoking.

See you in April.

AGE 27: Nocturnal in a Bad Way

I know I'm going to regret posting this. :P

AT AGE 27: I'm a Supergirl, apparently...

I have a knack for antagonizing my friends. But sometimes, they gleefully do the same.

Love them dearly though.

.......but nonetheless, ugh.

Update: Live evidence of this travesty....

AT AGE 27: Pet Name

I'll have you know, she is just as awful as I am. :)

AT AGE 28: Goodbye

Heya.

As promised, here's a new strip.

I decided to forgo the grey shading and just go for straight black and white from this point on. It's a bit simpler and to be quite honest, I just enjoy how it looks. Especially with how I'd been looking at a lot of Jaime Hernandez's work during my internship at Periscope.

New update will be next Wednesday!

U-Street - Part 5

This is way late. But here it is. Part 5 is here.

This was difficult to finish for various reasons. But I didn't want to leave it open ended. It's part of my history and it happened. And to tell the truth, despite how things turned out, I'm happy it did. They were still good times.

New pages will be posted tomorrow.
